Overview
Food waste is a global problem. In care facilities, about 30% of the food is wasted. The research aims at exploring the origins of food waste within the organisation of care facilities and at indicating concrete recommendations for reduction. With the help of problem-centered interviews, food waste influences are described in order to derive recommendations for future food waste reduction.
