Overview

TRiFOCAL is an EU LIFE funded project led by Resource London – the partnership between WRAP and LWARB – together with Groundwork London. The €3.2 million project is being delivered from September 2016 to August 2019. The TRiFOCAL project aims to encourage sustainable food systems in cities by combining and communicating key messages relating to: Prevent food waste by changing planning, shopping, storage and meal preparation behaviour Promote healthy sustainable eating by changing purchasing and preparation practices Recycle more unavoidable food waste This London pilot is the first project to combine these three messages at this scale. TRiFOCAL will build on a number of existing materials, research and initiatives including Love Food Hate Waste and Recycle for London.
