Overview

At “lebensmittelwertschaetzen.de” you can find a bundled list of tools to reduce food waste, such as: checklists, spreadsheets, training materials, flyers, guides and apps.  The contents are partly from the project “Vermeidung von Lebensmittelabfällen ” and partly from the initiative “Zu gut für die Tonne” and measures of the federal states.

The background of the project was that numerous national and international projects have already been developed to help prevent food waste. However, this multitude of tools is very difficult to grasp and it is extremely time-consuming to find the right tools for companies. Within the scope of the project, corresponding instruments from science and practice were therefore researched, bundled and made available on the Internet platform
