Overview
Tackling the high amounts of food waste is part of the EC´s agenda on SDGs for 2030 and has been taken up by several actors. Under the title “Zu gut für die Tonne” (too good for the bin), the BMEL is campaigning against the discarding of food waste. The project includes a website that provides tools, such as data and facts about food waste, recipes for leftovers, also as app, and school material on the subject.
